Membership
The Membership Committee recommends and coordinates for the body the implementation of a plan for increasing and maintaining membership of the organization. The Chairperson coordinates the annual membership drive.
Policy
The Policy Committee is headed by the Policy Advisor. This
committee assesses and remains abreast of public policies that may impact African American children and families, while maintaining communication with the National office.
Communications / Public Relations
The Communications and Public Relations Committee informs the general public about the positions and programs of the affiliate.
Early Childhood Education
The Early Childhood Education Committee recommends to and
coordinates for the body an annual program plan that reflects the goals and objectives of the
organization and directs the activities for the year.
