A parent and teacher engagement program that focuses on developing the whole child through affective use of guidance strategies and how to engage children in developmentally appropriate activities that will allow children to reach their milestones without using suspension or expulsion as a solution.
FOR PARENTS WITH CHILDREN AGES 2-17
An open discussion with BIPOC parents and caregivers, lead by BCDI Staff and occasional guest speakers. They are a great way to connect with other parents experiencing the same issues facing their children that are in the same age range. Table talks are facilitated in age groups with caregivers with children ages 2-4, 5-7, 9-11, 12-14, and ages 15-17 years old.
